No, literally! My name is pronounced /mee/.

I know, I know. It's confusing because it's spelled M-Y, right?

​

It is because it's in Vietnamese. My full name is Lê Toàn Mỹ, or My Le in English. Did you know that because it is also in Sino-Vietnamese, I can also write my name in Chinese and still keep its original meaning: 黎全美 (Li Quan Mei)?

As you can already tell, I'm a cultural and travel geek. I'm also a geek (nerd more like) for a lot of other things such as histories, religions, mythologies, architecture, and cuisines. Oh, wait! All of those are also very cultural...

I just can't have enough of them!!!

Departed from Vietnam for the U.S. in 2018, I recognized the importance of educating myself on different cultural backgrounds and appreciating their differences, not being uncomfortable with them. Thus, I hope this personal blog can be an opportunity for me to document my appreciation for all that the world has to offer! :)
